We love working with Maresh Vineyard. The earthiness and minerality create a distinctive softness and complexity. It generally matures nicely over time and we expect this vintage to age beautifully. Maresh Vineyard has produced legendary Pinot Noir for nearly fifty years after being planted by Jim Maresh in the Dundee Hills on lava soil. This wine received a 93 from Vinous and 92 from James Suckling.

Winemaker Notes
This ruby colored wine has a pensive quality to it that reminds me of reading Gabriel García Márquez- the more time you spend with it, the more layers you discover. On the nose, it is bright red cherry accented by river rock and floral notes. The silky texture is full of red cherry, raspberry, and a touch of herb and rose. It’s acid driven with a long finish of black tea and soft tannin.
