This is the first harvest from our new block of Gamay from Cherry Grove Vineyard in the Tualatin
Hills AVA. We’ve fermented it with a majority whole cluster and partial carbonic maceration. Our
goal is to bring out fruit with a firm backbone of spice complexity and balance.

You know those bubblegum, tutti fruity Gamays? This is not one. I can foresee this becoming my new easy drinking house red. “Take me to a barbeque- I want grilled meat!” it says, but it is also lovely on its own. The nose is full of cherry, black pepper, and cedar, while the palate is cherry and strawberry.
